Kayla is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) and has been practicing at our Burnsville location since August 2016. Kayla received her Associate’s degree at Anoka Technical College. She provides occupational therapy to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clients in-center and outpatient clients after school. Kayla has assisted in leading multiple parent events, employee engagement events, and multiple small groups in Burnsville. She started working at Partners because she always knew she wanted to work with kids. She knew autism was a spectrum and would have the opportunity to see a variety of kids. She was looking for somewhere where she could collaborate with multiple professionals and she has enjoyed working with a variety of clients of different abilities and ages. She loves the collaboration with staff and parents and has also loved the opportunity for leadership to lead trainings and a variety of groups.

Kayla is married and has a spunky boy born in 2022. She enjoys playing volleyball, friends and family, and growing her knowledge in occupational therapy to assist her clients. Fun fact: Kayla’s father is a horse trainer and she grew up riding horses and has traveled to 40 of the 50 states showing them!
