The Bridges Program

WHAT IS THE BRIDGES PROGRAM?

The Bridges Program is a group therapy setting that children participate in prior or during their enrollment into school.  A focus thoughout this program is to introduce SEL, otherwise known as Social-Emotional Learning.  SEL refers to the development of self-awareness, self-contol, self-regulation, and responsible decision making, all of which are essential for school and life successes.  

WHO CAN JOIN THE BRIDGES PROGRAM?

This program is specifically designed to meet the treatment needs of elementary school aged children who demonstrate a strong likelihood of being able to be mainstreamed into a typical classroom with minimal to no special education supports.  Children will be grouped with others who are socially appropriate.

THE AFTER-SCHOOL BRIDGES PROGRAM

3:00 – 6:00 pm  Monday – Thursday
