Erika is an occupational therapist and has been practicing at our Winona and La Crosse locations since February 2023. She graduated from the first doctoral occupational therapy program at the University of Minnesota (Rochester campus) in September 2022. Erika started working at Partners right after graduating. She was looking for a pediatric setting as she has experience with kids her entire life and enjoys the balance of fun and challenges it provides. She has found many correlations between coaching preschool gymnastics and working on gross motor skills as an occupational therapist and loves to carry over skills and activities between the two passions. Erika loves the creativity required to make treatment sessions fun AND functional! She also enjoys seeing the progress made over time and the difference it makes in the children’s and families’ lives.

When Erika is not working at Partners, she enjoys hiking and coaching gymnastics. She’s been a gymnastics coach for 10 years now!
