What brought you to Partners in Excellence?
I actually started at Partners as an intern. Being an intern at Partners was a great experience and went above and beyond my expectations. The environment the staff had created was so supportive and positive. It was an easy decision to apply for a position at Partners when my internship had ended!

Have you held any previous positions at Partners? If yes, what were they?
Yes, I was previously a behavior therapist and intern.

Describe your fellow Partners employees in three words:
Committed, compassionate, and encouraging.

What is something most people don’t know about you?
I helped teach a senior exercise class in college!

Do you have any advice for someone who is just starting their career at Partners?
Take the time to get to know your clients and co-workers! Understanding what makes your client smile and laugh is not only rewarding, but will make you both more successful when you work together! As for your co-workers, they can turn any bad day into a good day. So make sure you get to know them and let them get to know you!

If you could be anyone for a week, who would it be and why?
I would be a photographer for National Geographic so that I could be paid to do something I enjoy while also traveling!

Is there a moment, a specific story, event, or a kiddo that really stands out to you in your time at Partners?
Recently we had our Pod staff gather together for an impromptu meeting. We were clapping for some of our co-workers and a client started to join in on the fun! She was so excited that we were clapping that she started telling us to “Clap”. In response, all of us would start to clap and she would start clapping and laughing from her own excitement!

Which of our core values most resonates with you and why?
Creative problem solving because it is not just an option, but a requirement to provide the best therapy for the kids we work with! At Partners we are always brainstorming new ideas and solutions to help our clients excel.
