Mik is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has been practicing at our Minnetonka location since July 2022. Mik earned her bachelor’s degree from William Carey University and her master’s degree from Baylor University. Her role at Partners is to facilitate, shape, and illicit language while improving overall speech intelligibility (i.e., articulation) and social skills. Mik began her career in the schools in Indiana and found an interest in working with those with an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. She found herself moving back home to Minnesota and applying at Partners in Excellence. Mik has enjoyed seeing speech therapy, occupational therapy, and ABA therapy blend, ensuring that the client leaves Partners prepared for his or her next steps. She loves being part of a team and seeing the clients succeed within each goal area!

When Mik isn’t at Partners, you can find her reading, hiking, trying new restaurants, playing volleyball, and snuggling up to her new puppy. Fun facts about Mik: she played collegiate volleyball all four years and has moved 15 times within her life!
